C-Levelers Go Online, Google Up, Get Cashback for Searching
C-Level people are spending more time on line. Historically consumers of traditional media, C-Level people are now incorporating online media into their daily routine. Comscore data is out and it shows Google going up, up, up and Yahoo going down, down, down. No surprise there. Microsoft is now less than 10% share of the US market. New York Times reports online search ads are faring better than expensive display ads. Search ads are considered cheap and effective. Microsoft is now willing to pay you for searching with their Cashback from Live search. Google Sites now available to everyone.

What: We looked at different ways of searching for information this week. And we looked at ways to find what others are searching. Usings this kind of information together can really help you take advantage of the search engines at a much higher level.

Why: Most people are still not using very sophisticated capabilities of search engines. Yet virtually everyone searches on a regular basis. Spending some time learning some new techniques and tools can really make you more efficient and more effective.
How: I shot this with my mini DV Panasonic video camera. I had 1000 watts of light on both my left and my right plus some fill lights. I've added some covers to my lights to try to achieve a softer look.
How To Use Advance Search Techniques
What: Using the advanced search capabilities of a search engine is a great way to fine what you are looking for better and faster.

Why: Advanced search is still not a widely used tool. However, there is so much information online that not using some simple advanced search techniques can really slow you down and ultimately not give you the best results.
