Because I am not computer savy, I've written, commented and signed and donated to the petion; however I don't think anyone has heard me! Now since I know Sage, I hope he will deliver my message.
The previous performances of "Pirates of Penzance",proves the quality of work, artistically, musically, set designs and costuming, (all accomplished at Skylight staff) that is superb to any opera company, let alone a small vibrant local company. If you have not seen a performancere here then it seems as though your opportunity is gone! The love, loyalty, and support of dedicated talents makes me proud that these people are protesting something they love seeing it destroyed. These people are protesting something and someone that has endeared itself to them. "Skylight" and over the last ten years performances that we have seen and have traveled from Cleveland to see, will be an unwelcome void in our lives! Sorry for the incredibly poor timing of what would have and could have been a wonderful season for a 50th celebration.
