Google Zeitgeist

What: Google Zeitgeist is a great tool to see search trends. It shows you to most popular searches in a wide variety of categories by year, month and week.

Where: This was shot at our office in Akron Ohio.
When: March 21, 2007
Why: By understanding what the most popular searches are for a specific time period you can often come across hot phrases that might apply to your business. You could then write content for these phrases as potential drive a ton of traffic to your web site.
How: I shot this with my mini DV Panasonic video camera. I had 1000 watts of light on both my left and my right plus some fill lights. I’ve added some covers to my lights to try to achieve a softer look.
